I am SO EXCITED about this up and coming club tour starting in Little Rock Arkansas on November 2nd and making stops all over Texas to Kansas City to….ya never know where we might just show up!!

I have partnered up with a few good friends, Pendleton blended Canadian Whiskey…and my crazy talented girl, Miss Bridgette Tatum and together, we are gonna throw a party in YOUR town. We want every one of our club tour shows to be OVER FLOWING with people who are rowdy, whiskey drinkin’, country music lovin, ain’t scared to have a damn good time kinda people….we wanta show you that SHE’S COUNTRY and ‘SHE’ can rock the house as hard as any dude out there!

If you’ve never tasted Pendleton Whiskey….OMG, you are in for a smooth ride…well, their moto is… LET ‘ER BUCK, so, even though the whiskey is the best EVER, ya might wanta come and plan to spend the night.

Every show is starting off with a girl that I am a huge fan of, and I promise you…she is ANYTHING but boring, Bridgette Tatum! Like me, she sings, she writes em, she doesn’t play like a girl (instruments, that is)…Ha! You’ll be good and warmed up for yours truly.

I wanta see a line of happy people out the door, and into the parking lot of every single joint we play! I play Country music and I’m PROUD of that… but, be forewarned, I will throw you a curve ball from time to time until you’re hangin from the rafters!

I have a killer band called The Shakedown and together, I can assure you…you’ll two step, toast, and tear up the place when you get your eyes and ears on us!

Ok, so we got this right? You are gonna check this web site daily as we fill up all of November with dates….and you’re gonna listen to your local country radio station for more info and chances to win meet and greets and tickets…OH and BTW, we know most everybody is pinching their pennies these days, so we are making all of our shows totally affordable!! You have NO EXCUSE!!

Real honky tonks, dance floors, lots of Pendleton Whiskey, and hot chicks that can sing!…(that’d be us).

My New Single ‘Stay Up Late’ Is Up! Gimme Some Feedback!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my website! I hope you like it here, and I hope you take a little time to find out all kinds of cool new stuff about me, my music, my band “The Shakedown,” my friends, family, and yes, even my badass lil’ dawg Cash! EVERY WEEK FROM HERE ON OUT, as I post new blogs and video, I will be doing lots of LIVE CHATS on Facebook with you all for the first time! As many of you know, I’ve been a little technologically challenged in the past, but not anymore! I figure, I make all this music and I write and find all these very personal songs… the least I can do is let you know a little more about myself, right? Now I can’t give it all away though, because you know, I want to keep some of that mystique! Ha!

But hey, I love all kinds of music, and when I know someone, (even a little), and they sing songs that I can relate to, party to, work out to, comeserate with and sing along to— I find out they’re pretty cool! So, I hope, as we go, this new exciting music that I’ve been talking about for the past year that is FINALLY coming out for real (woo hoo!) will begin to resonate with and inspire you too! I hope those of you that already know me love this new vibe, and I hope the songs speak to you. For those of you that are brand new to me, my music, and my show….well, I hope to make you a life-long fan!

Now I realize I have some pretty high expectations here, but I’ve worked REALLY hard for a long time to hone my craft and make my show one that you will damn sure want to come back and see again and again. I also happen to believe in not selling out. I won’t sing anything that I don’t love, because if I don’t love it— or if I haven’t lived it– how am I going to convince you? So I guess what I’m sayin’ is, I always try to keep it real.

So, the first order of business my friends, is to ask you guys to check out this cool new YouTube video we just put together and let me know what you think about my new song, “STAY UP LATE.” After you watch it, feel free to ask almost anything else you are curious about and I’ll give you my best answer! Every week, I will be checkin’ your comments and questions and answering you back personally…( so don’t be mean…Ha!)

The idea for making this video came to me when I was at the studio one day talking with my producer, Blake Chancey, and some of my other good friends there. They told me I needed to take all of this crazy footage that I have piled up on my Kodak HD Flip Cam from life on the road, on vacation in the Virgin Islands and a day on the boat with my friend Kenny Chesney, practicing in the back of the bus with my hilarious and talented (and slightly demented) band, “The Shakedown,” and more.

Let’s see, I think there might have been a few adult beverages consumed during the making of this video, but fear not kids… there’s nothing too bad on there, promise. My producer suggested I get my editing guru Eric, to help me put this together for you guys, and also showed me a few others on YouTube that might make for a cool vibe. We came across a super cool music video from my girl, Adele, for her new song “ “Rolling In The Deep.” I loved how gritty and real it looked, so I thought I’d go after that same sort of “raw” feel with this. So here we are! I got on the ball, and we all started editing away! This is the first glimpse of my new single “STAY UP LATE!” Later, after you have all made a big deal out of this and have helped me spread the word, I will make an official music video that might be, let’s just say, a little more sexy and follow the storyline a bit more! (Wink!) I look forward to making THAT one!

Ok, it’s super late right now… and your eyes are probably crossing from reading my long-ass blog by now, but it’s been fun and I can’t wait to start this whole new “relationship” with ya’ll. :-) You will start hearing “STAY UP LATE” on your local radio stations around mid-March, and it never hurts when sweethearts like you call your stations and tell ‘em you want to hear it! Thanks in advance to those of you who do that!

I guess it’s goodbye for now, but I will be talking to you soon! I’ll be twittering away at all hours, and seeing you out there on tour. Remember, let me and my team know how you like the vibe of the newest song on my up-and-coming album (yes, we still call them albums, right?) and look for that very diverse, cool COUNTRY record soon. Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Wins Again!

Well hello everyone,

So much has happened since my last blog….there has been lots more new songs written, A LOT of fish caught up on gorgeous Bending Lake at the Turtle Creek Lodge in Canada, there’s been lots of kind people donate their hard earned money for two different big benefits for Vanderbilt Children’s Cancer Research Hospital, there’ve been shows played, and smiles made, there’s been the miracle of my neighbors new baby boy Witt Deane, who was born with a bad ticker…and we were all on bended knee praying that he and his family would make it until they could find him a new heart and perform a successful transplant…and what do ya know?  Baby Witt is home now for the very first time since his birth from Vanderbilt, and he is doing amazing so far with his new heart!!! Thank God!!! Miracles DO happen, they happen every day!

First, I wanta mention the Dierks Bentley ride I did this past Sunday, Oct 17th, to benefit the Vandy Children’s Hospital. I had a blast! I’m pretty proud too, cause I believe…. I was the ONLY chick Country singer to ride her own bike on that ride. I got to showcase my new Demented Cycles bike….she’s totally custom…and she’s PINK!!! She’s pretty bad ass!! We still have a few more tweaks to make “Pinky” a little more of a totally perfect fit for my petite size, but everyone got to see her…and she WOWED the crowd!!  Ricky Kelly and all the nice people at Harley Davidson of Columbia were, as always, so kind….and did an amazing job keeping everyone safe and help make it so much fun for all the riders. I believe the ride was like, twice as big this year. I am already looking forward to next year. And I think we raised a lot of money for an amazing cause!! So thanks to ALL who participated…and to Dierks for continuing to do a great thing and help us get one step closer to a cancer free world.  We rode from the Columbia dealership to the River Front Stages in downtown Nashville. So many great performers did their part like Miranda Lambert…I love that girl…Jerrod Niemann…he’s the real deal…Luke Bryan, so sweet, and one of my heroes, Mr Del McCoury and, of course Dierks.  I was proud to be one of em too and it was so hard not to do some new material, knowing the new single is right around the corner,  but I want it to come out with a BIG BANG…..so I stuck with the familiar stuff. By this time next year….I plan on being well into a successful new CD where all ya’ll know every word!!

I took a trip with some of my favorite songwriters and publishing friends up to Canada. It was a trip that will stay with me for all time. The camaraderie and fun was undeniable. The country side was stunning, and the fish were biting!! We wrote quite a few songs on this trip and I believe YOU will be hearing some of them on your radio’s or however you listen to music….one of these days soon. We ate the fresh fish we caught every night, drank good wine, told a lot of stories, laughed A LOT, and for me….I bonded with these guys and made some dear friends that were once maybe an acquaintance. You’ll have to catch just a few of the stolen moments from that trip on the web site flip cam video. Wish I could put it all on there, but like this blog…..you’d be here all day!! ha!!

My friends, as this site grows…and you share it’s interesting content with your friends and family….I want to thank you…and let you know that NO ONE has had to be more patient and roll with the punches as far as when this new music comes out, as I have!!! It may truly be the most difficult thing I have ever done…knowing that we have such strong and authentic material just sitting there waiting to be heard….I have felt like my whole future is in waiting….waiting to be played for one and all. BUT, it WILL come out soon, and IT WILL be heard…and I am NOT gonna let anyone take that away from me. So, thank you for your patience…and for your support and kindness.

From the Great North!

Hello everyone!

I am writing from the Great North. We are playing near Deluth MN tonight and it is the first time I’ve had to wear a sweater in months!!! Weird. I am looking forward to the Fall for so many reasons. One is, beside Spring, it’s my favorite time of the year. Don’t you love watching the leaves change and the nights grow a little brisk out? Fireplaces start getting used….there’s just something seeing the seasons change! The other reason I love Fall, is…….drum roll please……..I REALLY DO SERIOUSLY, WITH ALL MY HEART, think that my first single off this new record will be released. We have been in the studio almost every day and night that I’m not on the road working on more new music. I am LOVING where this is going….and I know I’ve been talking about it and taunting you forever now…(trust me, it has been SO hard to be patient and wait for the right timing to launch this new project) It is A PRETTY BIG DEAL FOR ME!!

You only get so many chances to get to a “certain level” as an artist. Hence, my determination to make this album…web site…interaction with you fans….relationships with you guys at radio….the big consistent roll I’ve been waiting for. Key word being CONSISTENT. So you guys are such a HUGE part of what is about to take place. And this time, I am promised that they are gonna follow through with this time line. YAY! The one thing I know is, THE MUSIC FREAKIN ROCKS~

Hope everyone is doing well personally. This economy certainly has affected a lot of us…don’t think, just because I’m an accomplished singer/songwriter….that it hasn’t affected me either. That’s the thing…we are all in this thing together. I hope you are all waking up happy and healthy and feeling blessed for what you DO have….and making it through the days and nights with a smile on your face.
My dog Cash sends his love. He’s the little road warrior that makes this bus always feel a little more like home.

So check this out….we have been having meetings about how we are going to evolve this website with the introduction of this new music. I promise you all, this website is gonna be SO fun…and user friendly. You are going to be able to see ALL the goofy new and old video content…and even send your OWN video’s and pictures in so I can post them. We are gonna change the whole face and look of the site too…lots of new images and video footage and music….so keep checking in and telling all your friends.

I have TOTALLY been slacking on my weekly blogs too….so I promise to be WAY better about that as well.
